1. J.T. Barrett will put on a show in his grand finale at the Shoe.

It’s crazy to think that Barrett’s career with the Bucks is finally coming to an end. Yes, this is his whole fourth season with the team but it still seems like yesterday he was that freshman quarterback getting the start in the opener against Navy. Now he’s entering one of the final stops on his road out of Columbus.

Barrett’s record setting career as a Buckeye included many great performances but many shortcomings as well. It seemed like every time he had a great game it would be followed by a crushing loss and every loss would be followed by an incredible performance.

Regardless of people seeing Barrett as great or not so great, he has always showed up and performed. The Bucks have never lost more than two games in a season since Barrett has been the quarterback. That includes never taking a loss to TTUN which is the most important result of them all.

Barrett is on pace to have his best season so far as a Buckeye. Interesting enough, his best season was his freshman year when he had 34 touchdowns and ten interceptions. Barrett is close to beating those marks this season with 30 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. He has a guaranteed two more games to do it with a possible Big Ten Championship berth and bowl game as well.

The farewell tour for Barrett is coming to a close with his final home game on tap for this weekend. This game will not only be another chance for the Bucks to get better but it will also be a good opportunity for everyone to see how great of a quarterback Barrett has been for this team. Expect Barrett to put on some fireworks for his final home game as a Buckeye.
