Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB

Oh, what could have been with Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. When the Browns drafted Ekpre-Olomu in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the hope was that he would have been a steal.

Coming off multiple knee injuries, including his first at Oregon which resulted in him falling to the last round of the draft, Ekpre-Olomu has still yet to play in a game.

If it weren’t for the knee injury in college, the Browns would have had to select him much sooner as he had the potential to be drafted as early as the first round.

If you recall, Cleveland wasn’t expecting Ekpre-Olomu to play at all during his rookie season. Even though it has been a few years since he has played in a game, that hasn’t stopped Ekpre-Olomu from pursuing a career.

After being released by the Browns and spending time with the Miami Dolphins, The Oregonian posted a YouTube video of Ekpre-Olomu returning to Oregon where he is training for another shot at a football career.

NFL teams can’t wait and see on the former Ducks star. Therefore, Ekpre-Olomu’s options are limited.

Even though he could not play for the Browns, maybe if he is healthy enough, he could get a shot at playing in the XFL. If all goes to plan, maybe a workout with a NFL team could come out of this in the future.
