4. Cavs are better with and without LeBron

The Cavs made these trade deadline moves without a committment from LeBron James on whether he’ll play in Cleveland after this season.

With that in mind, the Cavs still took on $28 million in salary.

No one will be able to argue that Gilbert and Altman didn’t do anything to help LeBron win his second title with the Cavs.

The organization has ridded itself of the roster that crashed in burned throughout the month of January by upgrading with good basketball players who are all in their mid 20s.

Nance Jr., Clarkson, Hood, have all been around enough that they can have a serious impact in a playoff series.

And if James in July, they’ll be nice complements to whomever the Cavs draft in the lottery with the Brooklyn selection.
