1. Browns trade with Buffalo

Browns get: 12th overall pick and 2019 first rounder

Bills get: fourth pick

The Buffalo Bills are one of a handful of teams linked to Josh Allen, but delivering Buffalo its franchise quarterback would send the Browns from fourth to 12th.

Dropping eight spots still allows Cleveland to acquire a nice player, but it likely won’t be the type of impact maker available in the fourth spot.

If GM John Dorsey goes through with this trade, he must get Buffalo’s No. 1 in 2019. You should have to pay a ransom to get your franchise changer, and considering the Bills quarterback situation has been as woeful as Browns ever since Jim Kelly retired, Buffao doesn’t really have a choice.

John Dorsey’s already established a track record with the Bills, sending Cleveland’s third-round pick to Buffalo in exchange for Tyrod Taylor.

The Bills signed A.J. McCarron in free agency, but they are still expected to be in play for a quarterback come draft day.
