2. DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Penn State

Projected round: 4th

At 6-foot, 205 pounds, DaeSean Hamilton is a big slot receiver who’d be worth a look at even though the Browns’ just handed Jarvis Landry a massive amount of money to be their slot guy for years to come.

As Browns fans well know, you can never have enough play makers, especially when your franchise seems to have been allergic to finding them for the better part of the last 20 years.

Hamilton is a disciplined route runner, which is his strongest trait going into the draft. He’s a good athlete, but considering he’ll be going up against elite athletes on opposing defenses, that’s not a plus.

Hamilton averaged 16.2 yards per reception and caught nine touchdowns as a senior at Penn State. He was a four year starter.

He someone who can find the end zone and played in one of college football’s toughest conferences. If available, he’s someone the Browns should take a flyer on as a day 3 target.
