Baker Mayfield

By now those that did not like the Baker Mayfield pick may be okay with him as the future at quarterback. If that still has not happened, oh well.

While Mayfield won’t be bringing a flag to plant on the practice field (although that would be great television), it should not be long before teammates praise him. That praise, when not discussing Tyrod Taylor at quarterback should vary from the ability he can draw people to him to his willingness to learn anything and everything.

As not just the top pick but also a quarterback Mayfield’s best move is to never say no as a rookie so he can constantly be experiencing something new or obtain added reps/reminders in something.

Mayfield is best served to be on the sidelines learning all season this fall. Despite the expectation that he will be on the bench, his confidence, athletic ability, knowledge, attitude, and more are reasons why he is a going to be a popular choice to watch.

It is not every day that Hard Knocks has a first overall pick that was just drafted a couple of months ago on their series.

Through the upcoming series and in large part Mayfield, perhaps even more people become fans of the Browns!
