2. Austin Corbett , LG

Austin Corbett got the start at left guard and looked impressive.

Most noticeably, he had a huge block after pulling during Nick Chubb‘s first carry of the game, which went for 14 yards during the first quarter.

Look closely, you’ll see him pulling from guard here to lay a lick on a pursuing defender.

Corbett needed a big game, especially after the Browns switched Greg Robinson to left tackle during practice last week.

In theory, Cleveland was looking to see if a combination of Robinson at left tackle and Joel Bitonio at left guard was better than Bitonio at left tackle and Corbett at left guard.

Offensive coordinator Todd Haley hinted that the offense would be fine with Bitonio at left tackle and Corbett at guard, but it kind of contradicted what Hue Jackson had said about the aforementioned work at left tackle.

Corbett answered whatever questions the coaching staff may have had about what combination is better, at least for another week.
