Shon Coleman, OL

Shon Coleman went from the starting left tackle at the onset of camp to a guy banished to a reserve spot on the depth chart over on the right side of the line.

And now, with the Desmond Harrison healthy and practicing, the prospects of Coleman making the squad don’t look good.

Some foreshadowing regarding Browns’ reserves on the line may have been rivaled in a recent practice when Harrison was taking snaps with the second team at left tackle, while Greg Robinson was over at right tackle.

Entering camp, the line of thinking regarding Coleman was, “Well, if he can’t play left tackle, there’s always the right side.”

Well, even those opportunities are getting scarce.

Sashi Brown drafted Coleman as a third-round pick in 2016.

His future might’ve been sealed when the Browns brought in Robinson, the fourth-overall pick in the 2014 draft.

Robinson hasn’t lived up to his potential either, but the Browns seem to really like him because, at the very least, he can offer versatility in a pinch.
