Whomever at LG vs. Cam Heyward

The Cleveland Browns have been particularly nitpicky when it comes to setting an offensive line, despite an entire offseason program, training camp and preseason games.

Jackson’s indecision at the position may have everything to do with Steelers’ end Cam Heyward.

When the Ohio State product is at his best, the Steelers are lethal up front because they’re able to rush the quarterback with their front three when in a 3-4 base.

It may be the reason Jackson’s going back on fourth on whom to start.

Here’s his options:

Jackson’s got to find the best fit, as he’s stated leading up to the game that he’s going to put his five best lineman on the field.

Nothing’s more discouraging than watching the Browns struggle with this lineup after an entire offseason, but Week 1 highlights the game planning often forgot about in preseason play.

Jackson’s game planning for Heyward, and that may include switching Bitonio back from LT, to the position he’s a borderline pro bowler at in left guard.

As you can see from this poll from 92.3 The Fan, The Dawg Pound would like to see Bitonio and Corbett start.

It’s not an easy decision because both Harrison and Corbett are rookies and making this decision is all about limiting damage.

But with Cleveland appearing so bullish on Harrison, it might be more prudent to start Bitonio at left guard because he’s going to have to take on the Steelers best defender.

And if it doesn’t work, it won’t take long to see, and changes can be made.
