Myles Garrett vs. Ben Roethlisberger

Myles Garrett made a big deal about wanting to sack Ben Roethlisberger after he was selected with the first pick in the 2017 draft.

But a Week 1 injury last year, in addition to Big Ben sitting out the final week of 2017, meant Garrett never had the chance.

He will now.

And putting pressure on Roethilsberger is the best way to plan on beating the Steelers.

Think back to that December night in 2009 when a bad Browns’ roster led by Eric Mangini somehow ratcheted up a pass rush that took Roethlisberger down eight times, including five times on third down. The Browns won 13-6.

Garrett’s healthy and drawing rave reviews entering year two, but now his potential has to be more than “what might be.”

Garrett’s got potential to tally double-digit sack numbers, and if he wants to be a dominant presence he’s got to get to Ben once or twice, while knocking him down some other times.

In 11 games as a rookie, Garrett recorded 7.0 sacks.
