Jamie Collins vs. Alvin Kamara

One week after allowing James Conner to rush for 130+ yards, Cleveland needs to re-focus on stopping the run.

The Saints are without Mark Ingram, which means Alvin Kamara will receive the bulk of the workload.

That might not be a bad thing for the Browns’ defense, if they can get some stops.

While Kamara averaged 6.1 yards as a rookie, Sean Payton was able to plug him into the game at the right time to maximize his time on the field.

As the full-time back in Week 1, the Saints only rushed him eight times with Kamara rushing for 28 yards (3.6 average).

Payton will probably try and run the ball more based off what the Browns let Conner do.

But Kamara’s biggest threat will likely be as a receiver.

Simply put, Cleveland can’t let him catch a 3-yard pass upfield for 30 yards.

That’s why the Dawg Pound turns its eyes to you, Jamie Collins.

Collins is one of the highest paid defenders, and he kicked off Week 1 by earning rather pedestrian grades from Pro Football Focus. The analytics site gave him a 72.7 grade for Week 1.

Collins will also need help form Joe Schobert and Christian Kirksey, who turned in an abysmal 28.8 grade during the tie.
