Nationally, the Indians aren’t being given much of a chance. In this MLB expert recap, you see many prominent scribes picking the Astros to eliminate the Tribe.

Not going to happen.

I think Cleveland fans are going to get a postseason Corey Kluber who pitches like he’s a two-time Cy Young Award winner and not the guy who looked like a shell of himself against the Yankees in 2017.

I think Carlos Carrasco reminds everyone why he’s baseball’s best ken secret in Game 2, and I think Trevor Bauer starts Game 4 and reminds the baseball world why he was the favorite to win the Cy Young Award until he went down with injury.

And I think the Astros are top heavy. George Springer (.265, 22, 71), Jose Altuve (.315, 13, 61), and Alex Bregman (.286, 31, 103, AL-best 51 doubles, 84 walks) will carry the load on offense. After that there’s a couple guys batting in the .240s and .220s.
