4. Mohammed Sanu

Mohamed Sanu‘s never been a game-breaking threat, but he’s a veteran who cut his teeth in the AFC North and could provide some veteran leadership to a youthful Browns’ wide receiving corps.

Sanu was a third-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, who produced enough to land a fat contract with the Atlanta Falcons following the 2015 season.

He should’ve been on a Super Bowl winner, alas, the Falcons couldn’t hold that 25-3 over the Patriots.

Atlanta contended after that collapse, but perhaps now, at 3-4 and in last place of the NFC South, the Falcons might considering a trade of the veteran.

Sanu’s under contract for the next two seasons for around $6 million per season. With it all but set in stone the Falcons won’t be returning to the Super Bowl this year, there’s a chance they might to get something for the future by dealing away Sanu.

If I’m the Browns, I’d certainly make a call.

Adding Sanu certainly isn’t the splashy move many fans would be hoping for, but at the very least, Cleveland would add another body out there who’s battle tested.
