Newton not right

The Panthers quarterback just doesn’t look right, which has some suspecting injury.  He have multiple ailments, although he’s not sharing where it hurts.

Newton finally admitted to not being 100 percent and unable to make some of throws he usually makes, via Sports Illustrated.

If one thing is wrong with Newton, it’s that he can’t throw the long ball.

In a game where he threw four interceptions, Newton had to be taken out and the end of the game, for the second time this season, so that the backup quarterback could throw a Hail Marry the starter just couldn’t make.

Consider that, and then this: Newton is 6 for 19 with one touchdown against four interceptions.

When he tries to throw the ball over 20 yards, he’s 3 of 12.

Newton’s a competitor, so something tells me he’s going to try and stretch the field against the Browns, which plays into the defenses’ hand.

For the first time last week, Gregg Williams’ unit went without a turnover against the Texans. That should change this week with Newton banged up.
