Breshad Perriman

For a team search for a wide receiver like a gumshoe looks for Carmen San Diego, Breshad Perriman has been a find.

He had another big play today, connecting with Baker Mayfield on a 31-yard first quarter touchdowns.

At 6-foot-2, 211 pounds, Perriman is similar to Josh Gordon in that he doesn’t get knocked off his routes easily  and he’s physical enough to win those jump balls, just as he did in the first stanza Saturday night.

Perriman was cut by the Ravens at the end of training camp. Washington gave him a look, but released him as well.

He’s a former first-round pick who’s fighting for his NFL career.

The next step for Perriman will be establishing himself more in the game. The touchdown grab was his only catch of the night.

Speaking of receivers, Antonio Callaway caught this fourth touchdown pass of the season. He also has 507 yards receiving. Not bad for fourth-road pick who was suspended for the entire 2017 college season.

And he’s yet to hit his potential.
