Jamie Collins

Jamie Collins takes a ton of heat on the stock down post that regularly appears on this site, so when he plays well, you’ve got to give him some credit.

Although Collins was more a factor in the first half, you can’t discount the impact he had early on.

He actually looked fast and aggressive. He was the player we’ve wanted him to be since being acquired via trade in 2016.

Collins had six tackles, two tackles for a loss and a sack. His quarterback takedown was his third of the year.

Cleveland.com’s Terry Pluto suggested the national stage might’ve given reason Collins to step up and be a factor.

Perhaps he’s right.

Every game Collins played with the Patriots was a big one. With Bill Belichik on the sidelines and Tom Brady in the huddle, you better not screw up.

Collins needs to get some positive footage on tape because I still suspect the Browns will move on from him this offseason.
