Picks 21-25

21. Seattle-Brian Burns-Edge-Florida St.-Seahawks gamble on traits here. Brian Burns was also productive for the Seminoles, and an extra edge across from Frank Clark wouldn’t hurt anyone.

During his last two seasons with the Seminoles, the 6-foot-5, 235-pound Burns totaled 29 tackles for a loss and 14.5 sacks, with 10 of those quarterback takedowns coming last season.

22. Baltimore-A.J. Brown-WR-Ole Miss-Thought about speedsters like Parris Campbell and Hollywood Brown here, but with Lamar Jackson as their quarterback of the present and future, the Ravens need to look for more help underneath by way of a new slot receiver and that’s why A.J. Brown gets the nod.

Baltimore recently signed Robert Griffin III to back up Jackson, so the offense won’t change if Jackson goes down.

23. Houston-Cody Ford-T/G-Oklahoma-Texans continue to build in front of DeShaun Watson and nab Cody Ford.

24. Oakland-Josh Jacobs-RB-Alabama-Raiders just signed Isaiah Crowell, we know he’s not a bell cow at this point, neither is Marshawn Lynch, if he returns. Raiders need playmakers and Josh Jacobs fits the bill here.

Food for though: First draft in a while that there hasn’t been a “generational talent” at running back.

25. Philadelphia-Nasir Adderly-S-Delaware-Eagles are deep in the secondary, but a little versatility doesn’t hurt here, and there is value in the secondary at this point of the draft.
