4th round

119th overall. The Browns add depth to the offensive line by adding tackle Dennis Daley.

Like it: It’s the fourth round and the Browns should be taking a developmental tackle and Daley’s fits the description.

Plus, he played in the SEC against EDGE rushers like Clelin Ferrell and Josh Allen.

I won’t pretend to have watched a ton of video on Daley, but scouting sites mention his need to clean up his technique and overall footwork.

The Browns re-signed Greg Robinson to a one-year contract and a longer extension should be in the works if the former No. 2 overall pick continues to play well at left tackle. Chris Hubbard mans the other right tackle spot and played OK.

As always, Daley could always end up at guard, which is common when you start picking lineman later in the draft.

Don’t like it: Don’t let analytics be the end-all be-all, but was surprised to see Daley’s name not listed on PFF’s big board, which ranks 250 players!
