Cleveland Browns 2019 mock draft: Factory of Sadness version 3.0
By Mike Graham
Picks 21-25
21. Seattle-Garrett Bradbury-C/G-NC State, Seahawks want to be more physical upfront, taking a versatile lineman in Garrett Bradbury to help the run game and take some pressure off of Russell Wilson.
22. Baltimore-AJ Brown-WR-Ole Miss, You wouldn’t have predicted this one right after the NFL Combine, but A.J. Brown goes ahead of D.K. Metcalf here. Based off what the Ravens are doing on offense, building a running game around running quarterback Lamar Jackson, Baltimore gets a capable blocker who’s best suited for the slot with an ability to go outside.
23. Houston-Christian Wilkins-DT-Clemson, If you’ve read the first two mocks, version 3.0 sees Christian Wilkins stock take a slight fall. Can’t imagine this happens in two weeks, but if he’s here, the Texans, especially after a run of offensive lineman, wouldn’t pass him up.
24. Oakland-Jeffery Simmons-DT-Mississippi St, Simmons will be redshirting with the ACL injury. With the Colts a few picks away, the Raiders take Simmons now.
25. Philadelphia-Josh Jacobs-RB-Alabama, Josh Jacobs here is a dream for the Eagles to add to their stable of backs. Philadelphia had been tied to Duke Johnson in some offseason Browns’ trade rumors. The Browns have held on to Johnson at this point, as it’s clear they’re just not going to give him away from a fifth-round pick.
