Picks 41-48

41. Denver-Deandre Baker-CB-Georgia-Baker’s fall ends here, as the Broncos snag some corner help. Denver lost Bradley Roby via free agency. They welcome Baker with open arms.

42. Cincinnati-Mack Wilson-LB-Alabama-After finally waiving the headache known as Vontaze Burfict, the Bengals need to upgrade at linebacker.

43 Detroit-Jaylon Ferguson-DE-Louisiana Tech-Edge help for the Lions to go across Trey Flowers.

44. Green Bay-Taylor Rapp-S-Washington-Rapp, because of the slow 40 time falls here.

45. Atlanta-Zach Allen-DE-Boston College-Allen gives the Falcons versatility up front, like Michael Bennett did in Seattle, can go inside/outside, great motor.

46. Arizona-Erik McCoy-G/C-Texas A&M-TRADE-Cardinals receive pick 46 from Washington for Josh Rosen. Cards get needed help up front for Murray, and get the Skins their QB of the future.

47. Carolina-Chauncey Gardner-Johnson-DB-Florida-Versatile defensive back for the Panthers.

48. Miami-Justin Layne-CB-Michigan St-Reports are the Browns are interested, but Miami takes him right before the Browns pick. If he really is the guy, it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see the Browns move up a couple spots in the second round to get him. If there is a trade, I think moving up a little in the second round is a lot more likely than moving back into the first.
