3. Portland Trail Blazers

Kevin Love goes home. The four-time All-Star grew up in Oswego, which is nine miles south of downtown Portland.

And let’s not kid ourselves. He’d be a great fit to pair alongside CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard.

Portland just advanced to the Western Conference Finals and will likely be angling to “go for it” and Love makes sense. With the Warriors banged up and facing free-agent losses, the West is as wide open as its been in five years.

However, this trade has to work for the Cavaliers, too. Would a first-round pick, which will be in the mid- to low- 20s be good enough? A post on The Factory recently looked a players the Cavs would have to take on to make the money match. Names such as Gary Trent Jr., Evan Turner and Meyers Leonard would make the money work.

Love’s former teammate, Channing Frye, through gas on Love trade rumors when he tweeted about the Blazers’ potential acquisition of Love would “shake the whole Western Conference.
