Cleveland Browns: 6 players whose stock is up after Redskins win

4. Mack Wilson, WILL
Rumors emanated long ago that Mack Wilson was looking like a steal in the fifth round. The Alabama product enforced that train of though with a stellar debut against the Redskins that saw him intercept two passes.
On his first pick, Wilson intercepted fellow rookie Dwayne Haskins and then ran 40-yards for a touchdown. Haskins’ never saw him and barely got over the goal line before the ball squirted out of his hands.
Then, with 13:33 remaining in the game, he did it again. The athleticism displayed on the catch was even better than his first takeaway. Analyst Tim Couch said having Wilson out there was like having a defensive back type player out there at the linebacker position, and it’s hard to argue with the former Browns’ quarterback after watching Wilson in action.
The Browns were hoping their rookie linebackers would push veterans Christian Kirksey and Joe Schobert and Wilson certainly answered the ball in his first professional game.
