Nick Chubb

The first time I watched him at Georgia, I knew he would be special.

He plays with great balance. Has great vision. Deceptively fast – right Atlanta?

Last year, Chubb burst on the scene for the Browns after John “The Legend” Dorsey forced the coaching staff to play him by trading away incumbent starter Carlos Hyde.

The move by Dorsey paid off as Chubb ran like a man possessed. He averaged 5.2 yards per rush on 192 rushes. Chubb accounted for 10 total touchdowns – 8 on the ground and two through the air.

Chubb ran for more than 100 yards four times last year. Including two in December. One of his 100-yard games came in week 4 against the Raiders – on 3 carries. 3 carries.

Chubb had 20 receptions last year on 29 targets. Of those targets, 23 came after Kitchens took over the offense. While Chubb may not have come into the league, or have been given the opportunity to show it, he will be a factor in the Browns passing attack moving forward.
