Cleveland Browns: Running backs rooms boasts stars, longshots
By Caleb Baum
A.J. OUELLETTE
Played his college ball at Ohio University. A.J. Ouellette finished his career with 3,829 yards rushing and 32 rushing touchdowns. He also had 64 receptions doe 516 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Ouellette showed in college that he can carry the load. His senior season, his final five games, his rushing totals were: 135 yards, 71 yards (8 carries), 168 yards, 196 yards, 169 yards, and 164 yards.
TRAYONE GRAY
He graduated from The U but only posted 294 yards on 60 carries and 5 touchdowns for his career. That was basically what Jim Brown did every game in his prime.
Trayone Gray is a big, big man (6’2” 235lb). However, he just feels like a true long-shot to make the team. He would need to be treated similarly to LeGarrett Blunt in terms of his role on the team.
But with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt – that is just not necessary.
