Sheldrick Redwine is back on this list for a second straight week after allowing two huge receptions to Colts’ tight end Eric Ebron.

The veteran got Redwine the first time when the Colts attempted to for it on 4th and . Ebron struck again when he slipped past Redwine in the back of the end zone for a touchdown.

In addition to allowing these two massive plays, Redwine noticeably missed a tackle in the third quarter.

To sum it up, he just seems a little out of a position from a first glance. His NFL.com scouting profile offers up a remembrance that there were serious questions about his abilities in coverage.

With Redwine, it may just be that he’s not ready for consistent playing time in the NFL just yet. That day may come. Perhaps it will be later in the season, but he sure looks to be having trouble in coverage.

As previously mentioned, he appeared on this list a week ago, as the co-culprit with Greedy Williams, on blown coverage that resulted in a touchdown. Browns’ defensive backs coach DeWayne Walker put more of the blame on Williams.

Now the caveat. He’s also flashed talent. Remember, he was a fifth-round pick. Before everybody started going draft crazy, there was an expectation that a fourth rounder might not be having his bust bronzed in Canton.
