Mack Wilson goes on this list for a second straight week, and

Mack wilson missed tackle, missed coverage on Tanner Hudson touchdown catch. On first glance, it looks like he was staring at the quarterback.

Of note, he also missed at least one tackle, maybe two. Like last week, this is an issue of fundamentals. Head coach Freddie Kitchens noticeably jumped on Wilson for missing a tackle in preseason Week 2 against the Colts.

The guy Wilson is trying to replace, Christian Kirksey, had a good game with three tackles and a sack. Considering the fundamental flaws, Kirko is safe to start to the season.

That’s OK, as Wilson is young and loaded with potential, as we saw in the first preseason game of the year when he had two interceptions.

Like many fifth-round picks, he needs more practice reps and more coaching up. The future is still bright for the Alabama product.

An interesting note: The Browns challenged a pass interference call on Wilson in the third quarter. The call was upheld, which makes the call even more of a joke. If the league is going to uphold calls like this, this idea of reviewing these calls is going to become a joke.
