3. Jamie Gillan

When the Scottish Hammer Jamie Gillan wasn’t drilling punts, he was reminding everyone that he’s a Rugby player who plays football.

On his first punt of the second half, Gillan came out of nowhere to tackle Bobo Wilson, who had found the corner and looked poised for a big return. Because of Gillan, the Tampa returner had to settle for just 14 yards.

When it comes to booting the ball, Gillan had six punts for an average of 47.8 yards. His longest went for 54 and he landed three kicks inside the Buccaneers 20-yard line.

It’s been fun to watch Gillan, but there just isn’t any way the Browns can sneak him onto the practice squad. If the Browns do what’s expected and keep Britton Colquitt, another team will come calling for “The Hammer.”
