10. The Browns are Super Bowl bound

As previously read, the Browns get into the playoffs and host a Wild Card game at FirstEnergy Stadium. If you’re lucky enough to go, congrats. It’s going to be awesome and you’ll probably spend the week leading up to the game tailgating.

With Indianapolis suffering a setback with the retirement of Andrew Luck, the Browns’ path to the Super bowl just got easier.

Which teams are keeping Cleveland out of the Super Bowl? New England, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and the Chargers come to mind. The Browns can play with Pittsburgh. Heck, even a Hue Jackson-led team could play the Steelers to a tie.

The Chargers? They just don’t scare me in the postseason.

The Patriots are going to be a major hurdle just because Tom Brady in January is as good as you’re going to get. But doesn’t age have to catch up with him eventually?

The Chief have next great gunslinger in Patrick Mahomes. But one of their best weapons, Kareem Hunt, now plays for the Browns.

So why can the Browns come out on top? Because of the emphasis the front office has put on building the defense.

In the Super Bowl games Tom Brady lost, he was constantly badgered by pass rushers. The Browns have that type of unit now.

And if the line can’t get there on time, the secondary is strong, behind Denzel Ward, Mitchell, Greedy Williams and Damarious Randall.

If there is a Cleveland Super Bowl to watch this season, the Browns better win it. Getting there isn’t enough. It’s time for the Lombardi Trophy to take residence in Berea.
