3. Higgins should be a factor

It actually sounds like Rashard Higgins will be a part of the game plan in Denver, as the soon-to-be free agent said he’s 100 percent healthy now.

Higgins has been active the past two weeks, but has been limited. He played just 14 snaps against the Patriots, committing an offensive pass interference flag on his most memorable play.

Even though he was flagged, it made me want to see more because frankly, the Browns lack big receivers. It’s not the sole problem the offense has underperformed, but providing Mayfield with some larger targets isn’t a bad thing, especially with Cleveland lacking at tight end.

Antonio Callaway has been the Browns’ third receiver ever since coming off his four-game suspension, and he’s been disappointingly inconsistent. That seems to be the theme with the offense and one of the biggest problems plaguing Kitchens.

Now that he’s head coach, good players are regressing. Higgins had a breakout season a year ago but now the rumor mill has him in Kitchens’ dog house. Meanwhile Mayfield is the 27th ranked quarterback in the league and Greg Robinson‘s been benched.
