2. Kareem Hunt

Not a bad game for a guy who hasn’t played a real football game in a year.

Hunt rushed the ball just four times for 30 yards, but he was most impactful in the passing game, catching seven balls for 44 yards. He also threw a stellar block for Nick Chubb, on a rushing play that went for 21 yards.

Chubb and Hunt were often on the field together, so it will be interesting to see how Cleveland utilizes this tandem moving forward. For example, two plays after Hunt was the lead blocker, the former Chief found himself on the with with both Chubb and Dontrell Hilliard in a play that that had to have Buffalo reeling. Hunt ended up catching a 7-yard pass.

It all worked out in the end, but on the Browns’ final drive, which setup the TD to Higgins, Mayfield missed a wide-open Hunt on the other side. A connection there probably results in a a touchdown.

Considering the frustration of the red zone, though, you’ve got to hope Mayfield knows to look Hutn’s way next time.

Overall, 77 yards from scrimmage and he showed the speed and shiftiness that made him such as scary weapon for Kansas City.
