Picks 21-25

21. Dallas Cowboys, Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri: Jason Witten is still hanging on, but he’s just too darn old. Albert Okwuegbunam would be the first tight end off the board, although it wouldn’t be surprising to see Dallas pick a corner. It seems they always pick a corner.

22. Miami Dolphins (from Steelers), Julian Okwara, DE/OB Notre Dame: The Dolphins lack talent virtually everywhere.

23. Kansas City Chiefs, Josh Jones, OT, Houston: It’s been cute, but how long is the Cam Erving experiment at left tackle going to last. Patrick Mahomes is too valuable to be left that vulnerable. Andy Reid calls on Josh Jones to protect his gunslinger’s blind side.

24. Minnestoa Vikings, AJ Terrell, CB, Clemson: The Vikings could lose Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes to free agency, while the usually solid Xavier Rhodes hasn’t been at his best. Corner figures to be the biggest need for the Vikings and A.J. Terrell gives Mike Zimmer a physical defensive back.

25.Buffalo Bills, D’Andre Swift, Georgia, RB: The Billls have been fine at running back with Devin Singletary, who was taken in the third round last spring, however, Sean McDermott can do better. With Georgia looking to build the reputation of being “Running Back U,” D’Andre Swift looks to follow in Nick Chubb’s and Sony Michel’s footsteps.
