2. Greedy Williams

Greedy Williams was tough to watch in this one, because if you didn’t know anything about football, you might have though Duck Hodges was a second-round pick and Greedy Williams was an undrafted free agent.

Williams first had us face palming when it looked like he was playing flag football as Hodges connected with James Washington on a 31-yard pass that eventually set up a Steelers field goal.

On another play, Williams got lucky, as Dionte Johnson got behind him on a deep route. Fortunately for the LSU product, Sheldrick Redwine knocked the ball away.

The Steelers added injury to insult for Williams, as Jaylen Samuels took him for a ride along the Steelers’ sideline during Pittsburgh’s first drive of the second half. The Steelers  scored (their third straight possession doing so) and took a lead they’d never surrender.

It’s hard to watch someone with Williams’ potential falter, because the guy has talent. That said, you can understand why he fell out of the first round.

Entering Week 13, Pro Football Focus graded Williams as the 58th best corner in the game, with a mark of 62.8, which is considered average.

The truth is Williams hadn’t been playing well of late, and that trend continued with a dud against the Steelers.
