2004 – TE Kellen Winslow (Round 1: 6th overall)

We’re not claiming this one. Kellen Winslow Jr. is a piece of trash human being. Yet, I have to at least type 250 words per slide to stay within the guidelines of FanSided and Factory of Sadness. So here we are, talking about a disaster of a human being.

The 2004 Draft Class for the Cleveland Browns is one of the worst. Not one of the players taken lasted more than five seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Both Winslow and second-round draft pick, safety Sean Jones played four seasons for the Browns. Don’t get it wrong, they were both apart of the Browns for five seasons, but due to injuries, both only played in parts of four. Frankly, neither man really played at all until 2006; two years after they were drafted.

Winslow is a monster of a human being. On the field, however, he was anything but a monstrous player. In his five years with the Browns, he only had two good years, with his 2007 campaign resulting in a Pro Bowl appearance. He went on to have some decent years in Tampa Bay, before going to New England, the Jets and eventually failing to make it with the Seattle Seahawks.

He’ll be spending the next 12-18 years behind bars after pleading guilty to sexual battery and rape of two different people. Winslow will go down as not only one of the Browns’ most disappointing picks of all time, but of also one of it’s most evil alumni to ever touch the grass at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
