Cleveland Browns new uniforms: 4 things they got wrong
4. The white and brown combo
“Whew, glad they kept that white and brown combo,” is what someone is saying nowhere.
These uniforms take me back to the days of Eric Mangini and just do nothing for me except to think about losing. The same could be said of the white on white, as that’s what Colt McCoy was wearing when James Harrison slammed him into a different world on that memorable Thursday night game in the early 2010s.
Perhaps this is nitpicking, but hey, what else are we all going to do in another day of quarantine? Here’s something else about the white on brown combo.
The white pants have orange, brown and orange stripes, while the Brown pants have orange, brown and orange stripes. If the white pants can have a different color center stripe, why can’t the brown pants?
It’s minor, but it would’ve been a noticeable change (for the better) if the brown pants had an orange, white, orange look.
