Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow has lived up to the hype so far through his first six games. He’s thrown for over 1,600 yards in his rookie campaign, currently 9th best in the NFL. He’s completed 65% of his passes and has shown the ability to make plays happen. While his record, 1-4-1 isn’t great it has shown promise. Of those four losses, only one has been a blowout, partly because of Burrow’s ability to keep his team in the game past the point they really should be.

He’s shown great poise but against the Browns none of that really matters, as just about any quarterabck in the league can throw on this team’s defense. Getting to burrow and forcing him to make mistakes is going to be crucial. There’s no otherway this defense has shown to be able to slow anyone down.

Unless there’s significant pressure all game across the line of scrimmage on this hapless Bengals offensive line, then there’s every chance in the world that Burrow goes and throws for over 400 yards on the Browns. The Browns secondary isn’t good enough to slow them down and the linebacking corp has proven time and time again they can be beaten. Burrow is the key to the whole gameplan for both teams.
