Cavs chatter: 3 impacts Isaac Okoro will have on roster
1. Defense first
Defense has only been a rumor at the ROMOFHO (Rocket Mortgage Field House) the past couple of seasons.
That should change with the selection of Isaac Okoro, a 6-6 225-pound wing who actually can defend.
That said, there will be fans and pundits critical of this pick. In a league dominated by 3-pointers, Okoro is just a 28 percent shooter from beyond the arc. He averaged 12.9 points per game and shot .514 from the field and .672 from the free throw line.
But make no mistake about, the Cavs didn’t go for scoring as they did in the previous two drafts, with Collin Sexton and Darius Garland.
