6 Browns whose stock is booming after edging Eagles Week 11
5. Jordan Elliott
The Browns really needed someone to step up against the run on a day the unit was without Myles Garrett, and rookie Jordan Elliott maximized his time on fat field.
Elliott only played eight snaps against the run, according to PFF, yet in that time, he had three tackles. He also forced that huge fumble near the Browns’ goal line when Philly was threatening to score.
Hard to say how the game would’ve turned out if the Eagles scored six there, but let’s be thankful we didn’t have to sit around and find out. Remember, the Browns’ only touchdown in the first half came via Sione Takitaki’s pick-6.
As a rookie, Elliott’s role has been that of a rotational piece and if he continues to play the way he did today, he’ll have done a stellar job in his first season.
