3 Cleveland Browns stocks that managed to sink vs Titans
3. Larry Ogunjobi
It’s hard to put a guy on blast who had a key sack late in the third quarter. Even so, Myles Garrett should be credited with at least a half sack there, because he forced Ryan Tannehill to move way up into the pocket, putting a bullseye on his jersey for Ogunjobi.
Taking away that play, Ogunjobi was dinged for missing two tackles, giving him a tackling grade of 23.1, according to Pro Football Focus.
For the game, Ogunjobi he totaled a mark of 52.0, which is considered “replaceable” by the analytically driven website.
His counterpart at defensive tackle, Sheldon Richardson, posted a grade of 79.4 and recorded a big stuff of Derrick Henry on 4th and 1 during the first stanza.
Ogunjobi will be one to watch moving forward, because he’s one of the players who will be looking for an extension this offseason. I could see the Browns doing a four-year deal with the money coming up front. I think they’ll still have money available because I don’t see an extension coming for Mayfield this offseason, unless he works miracles in the playoffs.
On the flip side, I could see the Browns moving on from Ogunjobi. They drafted Jordan Elliott last spring and he’s been solid against the run when he plays. Cleveland can then load up on depth in the 2021 draft.
