Round 4, Pick 123 Dayo Odeyingbo, ED, Vanderbilt

Odeyingbo looks the part, standing at 6-foot-6, 276 pounds. He played in only eight games before opting out to prepare for the draft. Before he closed the book on his collegiate career career,  he picked up 5.5 sacks while tallying 32 total tackles.

The No. 1 thing to note about Odeyingbo is his quick first step. It helps him to play both edge, in addition to giving him potential to go inside.

As the Browns wait to see who wins the J.J. Watt sweepstakes, they need to put a premium on adding pass rushers. I wasn’t expecting Adrian Clayborn and Porter Gustin to win defensive player of the year honors, but I think there’s room for improvement in those situational roles.

I could see the Browns signing a veteran in the mold of Clayborn, as they did last offseason, but adding another one here would certainly be optimal.
