Two home runs in 10 at bats? Yeah, the Indians will be happy to take that. With Josh Naylor logging time in right field, it appears that first base will come down to Bradley and Jake Bauers, with Naylor as the safety net at first.

Bradley is in great shape, having shown up to camp 35 pounds lighter. Strikeouts will be something to watch as it’s long been a problem. He’s fanned twice in the small sample size.

Don’t look for Bradley to turn into Ted Williams, though, and that’s OK. He’s going to strikeout. It’s the nature of his game being a boom or bust threat in the lineup. It’d be nice to see him cut down a little, though.

Bauers is entering what has to be his most important week as a member of the Indians. The wrap on him is that he can’t hit. He started off his spring going 0-for-7. He’s drawn four walks, but obviously, he’s got to flash power at the position.

Bauers could potentially win a Gold Glove at first–he’s that good defensively. We’ll see how things unfold. Bradley has to have the leg up with the way things currently stand.
