Another charger, Denzel Perriman, was recently tied to the Browns, but perhaps, it’s Casey Hayward the Browns need to offer.

The need for a corner grew considerably after Terrance Mitchell signed a contract with the Texans, as Cleveland now has just Denzel Ward, Greedy Williams and M.J. Stewart on the roster.

Hayward became a cap casualty with the Rams, and despite his “advanced age,” he still put together a solid 2020 campaign. LA saved over $9 million by releasing him.

The 31-year-old made 13 starts (appeared in 14 games) and tallied 41 tackles, as well as eight passes defensed and one interception. He missed the final three games of the season after suffering a hamstring injury.

Hayward was a two-time All-Pro in LA and is certainly someone who can push Greedy Williams for the starting gig opposite of Ward.
