Round 2, Pick 59, Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia

If the Brown are going edge with the first pick, Jackson stays on the path toward logic by delivering a corner in the second round.

Corner remains a big need, even with the signing of Rams’ free agent Troy Hill. Hills is capable of playing on the outside, but he’s best covering slot receivers.

The question mark is Greedy Williams. Will he be healthy enough to play? If he’s healthy, will he be any good. There’s just not enough of a resume to gauge what the Browns will get from the former second-round pick as injures have really stalled his career.

With that in mind it won’t be a surprise to see the Browns sign a veteran to push Williams, but maybe the front office believes someone like Campbell can push him as well.

That said, it’s wishful thinking to believe Campbell can come in, and as the 59th pick int he draft start Week 1. However, by the end of the season, maybe he’ll have earned those snaps.

Wilson was previously mocked to the Browns in the third round in on the Factory’s mocks. I believe his stock has gone up, though, and this is an appropriate place to draft him.
