1. Cleveland Indians SP Shane Bieber

Cleveland Indians ace Shane Bieber continues to be one of the best–if not the best–pitcher in the American League.

He’s an ace in the truest since of the word because every time he toes the rubber, Cleveland has a chance to win.

Bieber defeated White Sox ace Lucas Giolito earlier in the season by throwing nine shutout innings. His team picked up two runs in the 10th to get Bieber the victory. He went toe-to-toe with Yankees’ ace Gerritt Cole in his last start, but the offense never showed, as Cleveland lost 2-1.

Every time Bieber takes the bump, he seems to be making this history. Against New York, he tied Randy Johnson’s record of strikeout out at least 8 in 17 consecutive starts.

Hopefully his offense gives him more support, as it feels like the reigning Cy Young Award winner has to throw a shoutout every time he takes the bump.
