3. Cavs, Jalen Green, Wing, G-League

The NBA is a wing player’s league, so it’s with this in mind, the Cavs take G-League prospect Jalen Green.

He can score from wing, what else do you need to be sold on? The Cavs recently drafted Isaac Okoro, but I’m assuming they’ll find other ways to deploy last year’s first-round pick if they can get Green.

I’ve always seen Okoro’s ceiling as that of Otto Porter’s, which is good, but it’s not bringing championships to town. That said, Okoro would be invaluable to a good team because of his ability to play defense and knock down 3-pointers.

How about a starting five of Jarrett Allen, Kevin Love, Green, Okoro and Darius Garland. I’d buy tickets to that. Yes, Collin Sexton was omitted because I’d like to see a trade.

For what it’s worth, there’s already talk of Cleveland GM Koby Altman trading the pick. Twitter lit up over the idea of Ben Simmons coming to town via a trade. If you’re in the camp hoping for Simmons, the Cavs were just dealt a great asset to get a deal done.
