2. SG/SF Danny Green

The Danny Green slander is real and it stops here. Green is a good player and if you don’t need him as a second scorer, is a fantastic addition to any team. The 34-year-old still has plenty left in the tank and has the remarkable stat of being a plus-offensive and plus-defensive player in six of the last eight seasons. Green is a career 40% shooter from three-point range and is known for his defensive prowess on the Spurs, Raptors, and Lakers, winning an NBA Championship with all three of them.

It’s rather ironic that we’re talking about Green, seeing as how the Cavs actually drafted him in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft. The team gave up on him and he was soon in San Antonio where he became a starter on a team that had Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli, Tim Duncan, and Kawhi Leonard. His ability to play defense on the opposing team’s best player really helped seal things during Leonard’s early days on the Spurs.

Then the duo went to Toronto and won a title together before Green was off to the Lakers winning yet another piece of hardware. He got too much flack from Laker Nation but Green would be an amazing compliment in the Cavs team defense.
