4. Got wrong: Keenum’s blunder

The Browns were looking for their second score in the red zone in as many chances, and it looked like Cleveland would make good on the trip.

Alas, on 3rd down, Keenum dropped back to pass and threw a pick in the end zone. The veteran had all day to throw and from a clean pocket, threw it right to Giants’ corner Quincy Wilson.

Stefanski was seen talking to Keenum after the pick. Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot noted how Keenum only had seven interceptions back when Stefanski was his QB coach on the Vikings in 2017, the same season Minnesota went to the NFC championship game.

Moments before the pick, Keenum was almost picked off, but the ball was dropped and the play was flagged for defensive pass interference.

Earlier in the game, Keenum hit on a nice throw to KhaDarel Hodge for the team’s first touchdown. He threw a similar pass to Rashard Higgins, which went incomplete.
