Case Keenum was called to start for the second week in a row and was a perfect 7-of-7 on throws under 10 yards.
However, when asked to throw a little distance, he was 1-of-4 on throws over 10 yards. Of course, he had that interception in the end zone. The veteran clearly tried to force the ball, as he sat in the pocket with plenty of time.
Moments earlier, Keenum was bailed out on an pass interference call after throwing a pass into double coverage.
His played earned him a dreadful mark of 33.0 from Pro Football Focus.
Of course Keenum’s job security isn’t in jeopardy, but you might be able to talk me into a trade considering the strong play of Kyle Lauletta.
No need to remind me, I know Lauletta’s going up against third stringers and Keenum is still the better backup option, I’m just saying, I’d be entertained by a trade offer it one existed.
