One would think if Schwartz can continue to stay healthy, he’ll log some snaps the the Browns open the regular season against the Chiefs Sept. 9.
The stats don’t say much, but Schwartz did draw a big defensive pass interference penalty, while adding another catch for six. yards. The Browns were able to ease him into game action and on the DPI play, Schwartz’s speed was evident.
Yeah, his stock trending up is purely healthy related, but as a rookie third-round pick who hasn’t done much in practice, it was imperative for him to get on the field and log some downs.
