2. Cleveland Browns CB Troy Hill

He’s kind of the fortune man in the secondary, but Troy Hill played well against the Vikings.

Known as the “slot corner,” Hill saw a team-high six balls thrown his direction, yet he only allowed two of those to be completed. Off those catches, the Vikings only managed to gain 20 yards. Most impressively, Hill forced two incompletions, according o Pro Football Focus.

John Johnson III was really Cleveland’s first big signing, and rightfully saw. The Browns really needed help at safety and Johnson was the best available on the market. His former LA teammate, though, was pretty good, too.

Scroll through Twitter and you’ll see Rams fans lamenting the fact LA let him go, as, according to always reliable Tweets, David Long isn’t getting it done in HIll’s place.

Maybe most important, his addition didn’t force one of the Browns’ younger inexperienced players into the slot. Greg Newsome and Greedy Williams should play on the outside and signing Hill allowed them to do that.
