2. Cleveland Browns CB Greedy Williaims

You might be surprised someone from the Cleveland Browns secondary made this list, but Greedy Williams put together another solid effort–important considering he missed all of 2020 with that bizarre shoulder injury.

Williams allowed seven receptions, but on those completions, he only gave up for 43 yards. He posted a coverage grade of 82.4, the highest on the Browns, according to Pro Football Focus.

Williams also came up big forcing a fumble near the end of the second half. Williams punched the ball out and Malik McDowell recovered. The turnover set the Browns up for a field goal. For as much as this defense gets talked about, they haven’t really figured out a way to get more takeaways.

This contest marked the second straight week Williams was involved in a turnover, memorably intercepting a Kirk Cousin pass last week against the Vikings.

We’ll be watching Williams this week because it was reported he ended the game with shoulder problems. He was taken to the medical tent earlier in the contest with knee problems, but fortunately, he returned.
